Hawk's Eye is also home to Hawk's Eye Golf Club, a semi-private championship golf course serving the community and the public alike. The course is completed; offering 18 holes of what many are calling the best golf northern Michigan has to offer. The development is being constructed on a wooded site covering 374 acres. A portion of the site was a Christmas tree farm years ago, and predating the Christmas tree farm it was a community, complete with a one-room schoolhouse. It is again a community, there are no school houses anymore but the site for the Clubhouse is close to where it once stood.  The community and course are know for their incredible views, rolling hills and beautiful trees, which typify the area.
