Troy Martin, Vice President of Building, has been with VPN-Custom Homes since 1995 and took his lead role as head of the Building Division in 2003. Since he started with VPN, Troy has designed countless custom homes, condominiums and hotels and supervised in their construction.
He obtained his Bachelors in Construction Management from Ferris State University and also has an Associates Degree in Architectural Technology. Troy brings to VPN-Custom Homes, 16 years of construction background including 16 years of architectural design and 10 years of project management and bidding experience.
Troy’s intimate understanding of the design and building process truly sets him apart from all other builders in northern Michigan. VPN’s customers take advantage of his creative problem solving skills and the unique way he addresses the building process.
Troy married his wife, Jean, in 1996 and enjoys hunting, fishing and boating.
